Kathmandu Durbar Square: where you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess, who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence. Kasthamandap – the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and Durbar Square are with it’s array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient residence of the Nepalese Royalty.
Swayambhunath: which is just 3 kilometers away, west of the city. It is one of the world’s greatest Buddhist Stupas. Painted on the four-sides of the spire bases, are the never sleeping eyes of Lord Buddha, always keeping a close watch over the Valley from the top of a hillock. It is said to be 2000 years old. The stupa, which forms the main structure, is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gild. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagodas temples.
Pashupatinath: You will visit Pashupatinath temple which is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River, the temple built in pagoda style has gilded roof and richly carved silver doors. Visitors will be permitted to view the temple from the east bank of Rivers Bagmati, entrance in the temple being strictly forbidden to all non-Hindus. Pashupatinath is the center of annual pilgrimage on the day of Shivaratri, which falls in the month of February/March. Behind the temples are the cremation grounds.
Boudhnath: Other highlights of your today’s sightseeing tour are Boudhanath. Boudhanath is one of the holiest in Buddhist power places in Nepal, and one of the biggest stupas in the entire world. With its four pair of eyes in four cardinal directions, it keeps watch for righteous behavior and human property.

Patan: Located about 5 km south of Kathmandu in the Kathmandu Valley, on the southern side of the Bagmati River, Patan is one of 3 royal cities in the valley. The others are Kathmandu and Bhaktapur. A destination for connoisseurs of fine arts, Patan is filled with wood and stone carvings, metal statues, ornate architecture, including dozens of Buddhist and Hindu temples, and over 1200 monuments. The city is known for its rich tradition of arts and handicrafts and as the birthplace of master craftsmen and artists such as Arniko and Kuber Singh.
Bhaktapur: It is the home of traditional art and architecture, historical monuments and craft works, magnificent windows, pottery and weaving industries, excellent temples, beautiful ponds, rich local customs, culture, religion, festivals, musical mystic and so on. Bhaktapur is still an untouched as well as preserved ancient city, which in fact, is itself a world to explore for tourist.
